This printer assumes that you have some expertise in inputing information. One needs the manual to guide while using the display on the printer; otherwise printer is relatively easy to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought an Epson XP-400 series printer and set up was very easy and step by step. I have yet to use it but wanted to post a review regarding set up. To be continued...

Scanner program will not work with Windows 7 Home Premium. Downloaded programs from Epson web site, none worked.

Epson Expression Home XP-400 Small-in-One

This turned out to be one of the best printers. We owned a Epson WF-2540 and found out that it wasn't quite as good as the XP-400.
It is faster and the the print is better and it doesn't jam up as the other. The pictures are also better then any other printer that we've ever owned,
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am pleased with my purchase. I would consider myself a novice of technological equipment, but find my Epson XP400 quite friendly in navigating. i would recommend this affordable-space saving printer.

This printer was extremely easy to attach to my wireless network and to the computers that will be using it. I love the fact that it has a SD reader!!!!!! Since I haven't had to replace the "trial ink" yet, I really don't have an input as to how long the ink lasts.
I would recommend this to a friend!
