The XP - 400 is a great package

For the money, you cannot get much more in an all in one printing machine. I bought mine to wear it out and so far I haven't been able to do so. (I will though). I have written two books and for friends and family, I have printed dozens of copies encompassing thousands of pages with hundreds of photos contained therein. One is a cook book. I print on 24 pound paper. I have never had a feed problem. In a word, I have "abused" this printer and, of course, could have gotten a printer that would cost much more and stood up to my use. I just do not want to spend the money when an inexpensive machine will do the work I need. there were print quality problems but with the maintenance features contained in the Epson printer, I was able to correct them. there are many printers on the market and ALL of them have the one drawback of these types of printers, (all in one or not). they use a lot of ink. If you want to print it yourself then I highly recommend this machine and all Epson products and supplies.

I like everything about this unit and it is so very easy to use.
My only problem with it is it is very noisy when the paper feeds into it for printing. That is my only criticism of this printer, scanner, copier.

Decent Printer

The print quality of the printer is good, however I purchased this printer so my wife could easily print from her iPad II, but it seems that everytime she wants to print I have to "Adjust" the Wi-Fi so that the iPad can see it. Once it reconnects she is good for a while but if the printer goes to sleep all is lost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent photos and printing

Excellent reproduction of photos, and the LCD window makes for easy photo picking. Best feature, you do not have to have the computer on to scan and print.
Only drawback is that even with the longer lasting cartridges, I don't think they last as long as they should. I'm changing these weekly. But, still a great product.

Does it all without costing an arm and a leg!

This is the third All-in-One type printer that I've had to purchase this year. It is by far the best of the three. The first brand I purchased printed sketchy pictures and very few per cartridge and the second brand discontinued the printer cartridges just weeks after I purchased the printer. The Epson Expression All-in-One Printer is economical and prints professional quality documents. The cartridges are individual colors so you only have to replace the color you need. If or when I need a replacement, it will be another Epson.

I like my epson printer because its affordable and it prints up thing clear and neat. The ink cartridges are reasonable priced too.
