It's Ok But...

It really needs a document feeder for scanning and copying originals. Inks is a little expensive too but other than those 2 items no real complaints. Been using this multi function XP-400 more than a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Set up problems left me dead in the water

Even after registering the product, there was no printer email address in the registration confirmation email. And there's no phone support on Sundays, so I'm left unable to set up the printer on the day I purchased it. So far, disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Printer that works half the time

This is a good printer when it works, which is only half the time..can never get it to scan to the computer..can't find any help in trouble shooting.

Easy setup

I haven't used my new printer a lot yet, but the setup was very easy and everything I've printed has been great. I haven't tried printing pictures yet, but I also don't want to use up all my ink to do that.

I'm the least capable computer person in the universe and I've never attempted to install anything. This was painless and so far everything is working great. Could never get the wireless function on my last printer to work - techs worked on it for hours and finally gave up. I'm hoping things keep going the way they have so far. I'm pleased with the product and the price. Thanks

Epson XP-400

When I up graded to WIN 8 my old printer had no drivers available. I decided to get a wireless color inkjet to replace it. The Epson XP-400 fit all my needs and at a great price. Installation was simple and operation has been flawless. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have used Epson printers for 4 years. I am more than pleased, because they don't paper-jam, they don't go bad, they're beautifully designed, and the Epson support line is the world's best-- I never stress out when calling them, or preparing to call them. While I am not computer-savvy, I do use the printer a lot (I still like a paper trail, and I scan a lot to my son and and other advisers.)
