Set Up Easy!!!!!

I just set up the Epson XP-400 Printer / Copier / Scanner. The step by step instructions were so clear, that even I could do it without even one glitch. I can't remember when i did anything technical without wanting to pull my hair out and screem. Thankyou for Easy Set up / Instalation!

I just purchased this printer to replace an old one that had seen better day, Setup was a breeze, and the wireless took immediately without any problems. So far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am at this point very satisfied with my XP 400 printer. The setup was a little more difficult than I expected but I was able to get through it and now am pleased that I purchase this printer.

I have not been a faithful Epson user over the years. I had a nice, expensive Epson photo printer once upon a time and became very frustrated with it for various reasons. BUT, I purchased this printer because it had all of the functionality that I needed and at a great price AND it had great reviews. I have only had it a few days but will give a few of the pros and cons that I have experienced so far:
Pros:
Price (yes, please!)
Great prints so far (haven't tried photos).
Small and therefore great for the space I had.
Great packaging.
Installation was a breeze.

Cons:
Not exceptionally quiet. This isn't a big problem for me but it might be for others looking for a nice, quiet printer.
It makes this very high pitched sound (not loud but very high pitched) for a short time (a few seconds, maybe?) after finishing a print job.
Very few paper type choices (I wanted to print on cardstock but without the photo quality...there was no choice for this that I could find. I had to either choose plain paper and standard printing or a matte presentation paper with photo quality printing).
No option for two-sided copying. Not a huge problem for me but I liked that option on my past 3 in 1 printer.
A little on the flimsy side. I'm afraid one of my kids could pull on something and easily break it.

I haven't tried any photo scanning or printing but I didn't purchase it for that type of functionality and won't be terribly disappointed if it isn't spectacular. At the moment I am just very happy to have a functioning printer/copier at a price that didn't break the bank!

The printer was very easy to set up, I am 71 and if I can do it, anyone can. It works great, the only problem was it does not come with a USB cord, or printer cord, so make sure you purchase the cords, I found them on the internet very cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!
