YOU CAN'T CARD ME

My disappointment with this printer is in feeding postcards or envelopes it invariably jams. My old printer, which digested cards and envelopes without gagging, was much better. I like to correspond on these light-weight cards from the Art Institute: now I have to rely on my crabbed handwriting. As for envelopes, I have resorted to printing labels to stick on the address. A nuisance, and it doesn't look as crisp as a printed address. I am disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After trying to install twice it still came up "failed". Followed the directions to a "T". What's up?

Driver Problem

I could not find a stand alone driver for a Mac using System OS 10.4.11. There is an upgrade posted but what good is that if you don’t have a driver to upgrade?
On a Mac using a later system and driver the XP 400 is a nice machine and produces a nice printout.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had bought this printer after my other stopped in the middle of a printing job. I dont kbow much about printers but a gentleman at the store said this would probable fit my needs the best. In a hurty i said sure. He was completely correct in this statement. It has done everything perfectly for me and even when i am fa ed with another printing job i have not done before, this printer does it with ease. It makes me feel like i know what im doung now. Thank you.

easy to install quality looks great. wireless option is a great plus with children in college. being able to replace color one at a time is a plus!

I know this won't be alot of help, but the start up was extremly easy. Test page is the best I've seen from the many models I have used over the years. I have great expectations!!

8 months or so and doesnt work

I would not recommend this model, I'm not sure on the brand because I've only ever had this printer but I am not happy.I had the printer for maybe 8 months before it stopped printing black ink. Yes, they sent me a new one to replace it, but I've had my other printer from a different company for over 2 years and it still works great.
