Epson XP - 400

It was not compatibile with Vista - nothing but "script errors" - unable to resolve the issue. Uninstalled the printer & everything worked fine. The place where we bought it unable to help - We installed two more times with the same problem, so now too late to get our $ back. Very disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is far more complicated than my old one. I still can't l print a copy or scan. I know I should read the directions, but it should be easy enough to just follow the arrows and push OK. The other one 200 something was so easy. Unfortunately I jammed it with too much paper and had to buy a new one. I still use my old RX 620 with my old computer. So easy to use! Why do things have to be so much involved just because they are smaller in size and sleeker. Yes, I can copy from my printer OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an excellent printer, meets all my needs for printing, copying , scanning at an extremely reasonable price. WI-FI printing is fantastic and easy to set up. This printer is more compact and great quality and I like the fact that you have two options for ink cartridge capacity. Very economical.
I have been using EPSON printers for 20 years and would buy none other. As usual, great quality, Epson keep up the fantastic engineering !

Space-saving printer

Love the size of this printer. It takes up little space. Quality of the print is great. I have had problems with the wireless feature. I can print from my laptop, but not scan. For my desktop, I have to have the printer connected via USB cable in order to do anything. This is unfortunate, because I was hoping to keep the printer in another room and I can't do that because of this problem.

Love, love, love my Epson. Had other brands in the past but nothing can compare to my Epson. Will not even think of owning anything but an Epson.
