Had a great price. It was one of the most
quick and easy printers I have ever installed.
Great features, simple to operate. Ink cartridges
cheep and easy to find.

Epson XP400

Cute, compact, easy to set up, easy to use, LOVE the wireless ability, but VERY slowwww, even when printing just simple black & white text.
zzzzzzzzzzz......
We're snowbirds so our printers lie dormant for months at a time. It's too soon to tell if this little fella can survive to service our intermittent printing, scanning and copying needs.
It's replacing an Epson Artisan 700 which could not, but our aged Epson CX3810 still works like a champ.
I'm hoping the XP400 will be as reliable as our CX3810 and not as bad as the more expensive, unreliable, NOISY and trouble-prone Artisan 700 which is now resting somewhere in printer heaven.

Crummy Air Printer

I got this for air printing. When the printer is idle for any length of time my apple devices cant find it, and this printer has to be power cycled each and every time. Same goes for remote printing (print when away from home rendering useless unless someone is home to reset for me) What a huge hassle!! Updated firmware to no avail. It prints fine just super annoying. Ink goes real fast also
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact, fast, great color, intuitive operations-for reloading ink cartriges, can fax, copy and scan. Paper placement for copy/scan should have been marked on the glass.

Quality and Dependability

I purchased the XP-400 printer for home use, but ended up using it for a small business. It produces reliable prints and copies. The wireless feature allows it to be positioned on top a filing cabinet and out of the way. When I hit print, I know it will provide me with exactly what I need. Very dependable and high quality.
