Have not set up for smartphone. Couldn't had to set up laptop to printer using USB cable.

The ease of setting up this printer was A+. Printing on regular is A+; but printing out a picture was the worse experience-it was horrible.
So many options to have to program, I guess it will take me a few days. The manual that came with it, didn't give any help at what could be wrong. The picture didn't turn out and never dried....
I would recommend this to a friend!

tried to replace the black ink and could never get it to work right again kept having to clean and test never worked and ran out of the new ink trying only had since Christmas and this is early may barely used I shouldn't have to replace the ink already ..............junk

SLOOOOOWist printer in the world, This is cheap but ink is not, and it uses ink faster than any printer I have ever owned, I can only find Epson brand ink. also the software is infuriating. run out of pink ink and you need to print a black and white document? Nope not on this junk it simply won't print if you are out any of the inks. its obvious this thing is designed to make all the money on the ink they sell, again Don't waste your money here.

small, smart and simple

I have spent the last 3 weeks purchasing and returning 3 different printers. Envelope misalignment, wireless problem, difficult to install. Thank goodness for Epson XP-400. I am no longer frustrated. Very simple to install.
