Setup was easy for a computer challenged individual such as myself. Copying from the internet was easy and the results are great.
Have not had a chance to try other functions.

Some difficulty installing the software, but it is an awesome printer. Enjoy being able to print wireless from phone and tablet.....works flawlessly with epson connect. This is my 3rd epson product and as always, the quality is great. 5 stars!!

While this printer has a nice print, it is not easy to operate the digital section. It takes too many steps to scan. Same for copying, not a simple one-step operation.
Replacing the ink is also not easy to do as the cartridge keeps going under the side so that the ink cartridge can not be easily reached to take it out. I have to try a few times before I can do this.
I am not all-over pleased with the operation for the price. I have had cheaper printers that were easier to operate.

Epson Expression Xp400 A Winner

I found that this printer satisfies all my printing needs. I do somewhat specialized printing on occasion which requires me to print on stock that is not a standard size. Unlike other printers I have tried (which I brought back) they did not allow me to print on whatever size paper I want. If the paper isn't a standard size and you want to put a different size paper in knowing it will fit fine, the other printers give an error "wrong size paper" and won't let you print. I love the back feed too which eliminates miss feeds and jams when printing on card stock and other papers that do not bend easy. The photo printing is also very good and this makes for a very good all around multi purpose printer. Easy setup and excellent print quality.

Our XP 400 is two months old. Thus far we have made a wise purchase. The XP 400 is printing high quality printouts from our Androids, Laptop, Notebook, iPad & Macbook Pro.
We did the setup to print from the devices mentioned ourself with no outside help.
We require high quality printouts & copies - this unit meets & exceeds our requirements..
The XP 400 is a compact, quality product at a reasonable price..

Love it! I love the scanning ability it has. Was putting photos into computer so that feature was really handy. Easy to use as I am not very technology oriented.

Very easy to install. I like the idea of a different cartridge for each needed color. Hoping this will mean less money in replacing when needed.
The size is very nice, not too big and not too small.
Easy read panel. Very user friendly.
