Only my second All-In-One

Nice unit. prints great. Having a problem learning how to print exactly what I want. Need to be able to crop better. Maybe theres away to do what I want, and maybe a better explanation of how to do what this machine is capable of doing. Eats a lot of ink but produces great prints.

Good printer

I have had a large Epson graphics printer for about 10 years. I produced ledger-sized posters for the local theatre, and needed something that would handle the large dimensions and provide the color balance and resolution required. When it finally died, I bought the smaller XP-400 since I now email the posters as .jpg files to the print shop.
I like the small footprint of the XP-400, the low price, and the intuitive setup (I also use it as a scanner, replacing my large flatbed one). With the proliferation of printable forms, it's nice to be able to download an IRS form (as I did last week) and to print it from my Windows laptop or my iMac.
I had never thought about the convenience of wireless operation before -- just as I hadn't thought about cordless or cellular phones until they became necessary parts of my daily life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

xp400 all in one wireless printer

I have only been using this product for 3 weeks and mostly for personal use. It works great. Colors are bright and clear and documents come out crisp. The ink is priced right also unlike my canon printer where ink is pricey. although the disk for the download did not work. Epson customer service tech. rep. guided me through the online download very easily. All works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good little printer

the wireless hook-up was straight forward and easy. printing from the laptop worked the first time as did using the direct print from the scan bed. the touch panel is a dream, love it!

Espson The Great

I purchased this Epson because I so loved my other one which I had for many years. Different model, but same great price and performance. Most of all (being from the "old school") it's easy to use. When my friend's printer broke, she asked me what would I recommend and I told her Epson! She too, is very happy with her Epson.

Set up for Epson Expression XP-400

Set up was easy until time for a test print. The printer crashed hard and I had to swap it for another one. Started over the second time and everything is working good so far. (First one must have been a "Dud" from the factory.
