Epson 400 small in one printer

Great product...printing is excellent. Seems to use a lot of ink and don't like that when one cartridge runs out you can't print until you change that cartridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this printer/copier/scanner but for one thing...
Often when in PROFESSIONAL MODE, and scanning a photo, the image produced is slightly askew, ie it's turned slightly, no matter how straight it lies on the scanner. Only when in AUTO MODE is it straight. And it wasn't doing that at first, so, though I've investigated all I know to investigate, I can't get it to do different.
Otherwise, it's fast and efficient, and has capabilities I've not explored.

A Bad Purchase

I purchased the XP-400 because of the nice and neat size. The cost of the ink was also a reason to make the purchase. I followed the instructions to remove the protective tape...plugged the machine up, it made a noise and immediately the display showed 'printer error' please refer to documentation. The documentation only showed turn off /on and if this persist to contact Tech support. Never installed the ink/ paper or hooked to the computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Epson XP-400 is simply the best. Does all it says it does. I love wireless features. Quality pictures. It's not the fastest scanning device but it gets the job done well. Inks are affordable and the fast free shipping is great. I love my printer. I hope I get as much life from it as my previous one.

Good little printer, I am able to print from iPad and computer. Occasional problem with iPad, but can usually get it to work if I turn it off, then on. I no longer need any software to print, I like that very much. -

The Epson XP-400 has met all my expectations for a lightly used, inexpensive home-office printer/copier/scanner. The on-screen instructions are easy to follow; cartridges are easy to change; the machine folds up & tucks away neatly in a cabinet when not in use. The performance is quick & responsive for a small machine; copies are crisp & clean.
A minor complaint is that the low-ink warning comes on early - I was able to print 8-10 pages after the alert & before having to change cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like it. I bought another small Printer to replace one that died and I couldnt load the disc with the computer instructions. After three tries I returned that printer to the store and bought the Epson. I loaded the Epson disc on the first try and it prints and copies with excellent quality. it is a good simple machine
