All-in-one ok for the price

This machine has worked well so far. However, it seems the ink cartridges do not last very long at all. I've had it a few months and already the heads needed cleaning (which is one option in the menu) but it was already spitting out bad prints. It did correct itself but I've had other printers that never had this problem at all even after years of use. But it has performed well other than that so far. Just buying cartridge after cartridge is a concern...and you can rarely find the extended use cartridges in a store and they are NEVER on sale.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great economical home computer. So far, so good. Was easy to set up on the wireless network, comes with starter ink which has lasted longer than I expected. Scanner and printer are doing a great job! I also purchased this printer because of it's size which is smaller than most.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer never did work well, it gave an error message every time I printed something and then the display board did not work. I had it for only a few. Months

Reasonably priced. Like most printers, the ink is pricy. Wireless feature is handy. I haven't tried the web address feature yet.

Mac vs PC

Just wanted to comment on the registration form. It was asked if the printer is used on a PC or Mac. We use both, but that option was not available. Too bad because they are both used often and in completely different ways.

I have been using Epson printers for many years and I particularly like some of the features on the XP-400. One of course is the speed which has increased considerably from the CX3810. Another is the continuing monitoring of the ink, and how far it is from running out. When it finally runs out, it stops, and gives you a display of the ink that has run out. Push the OK button and it sets itself up to change the ink. Put a new one in, push the OK button again, and it goes through the process of restoring the ink flow. Then (if you have entered something to be printed) it resumes printing. I also like the fact that the ink doesn't seem to clog up as it has done on the past printers. A couple of improvements which might be made on the next printer. It is difficult to print a standard size envelope. A legal size is impossible since it doesn't fit. Also if they could make the old ink containers a little easier to remove.

Paper does not load very well. The instructions for loading paper were hard to follow. I do not think I would buy it again,.
