A MUST for Home Offices

This is the best printer/copier/scanner that i have ever bought, it also has a fax feature, which I've not yet activated.
Excellent multi-color prints; and a great ink-saving feature - utilizes color inks to produce black ink. a great savings on ink purchases.
I would recommend this to a friend!

XP-400 was a big improvement over my 10yr. old printer and scanner. Like the wireless, able to print from several devices.

We were disappointed with it. When we first used it, there were skips through the letters of a few lines. I had my IT son-in-law check it out and he had to run a clean port. Then it worked okay. I thought a new machine should have worked without cleaning. We don't like the paper fed standing up from the top and often, it won't print saying it is out of paper or a jam until we adjust the paper. We have been used to paper trays, also. We think it is slow for pictures. Next time, we get a printer, it will be a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer has done a fine job so far if we can keep it full of ink. It is easier to keep up price wise because you can just buy whatever it needs at the time. Since the color is three different cartridges it does help to get more of what your out of unless you run out of everything at once.
