EXCELLENT all-in-one deal, the only problem I've encountered is the paper feed tray keeps popping out of its tabs... I've given up trying to use that piece. Other than that two thumbs up!

Disappointed with short life of ink cartridges. The life appears much shorter than my previous R200 photo printer. Preferred the greater color accuracy of the R200 with six inks.
No local dealers sell the XL cartridges.
Your premium glossy photo paper also seems to be less glossy than former paper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is only one thing I don't like. Unless I hold my hand on the left side of the paper when it is printing, the paper goes through crooked. There is nothing there to hold it in place.

Good, not great

The XP-400 printer does a good job printing. Prints are clear and sharp. I do not like that the printer becomes useless when ANY ONE ink cartridge runs out; If a color cartridge runs out, you cannot print B&W, nor scan, nor do ANYTHING.
The printer also emits a high pitch tone for about 5 seconds after a print job is complete. Not a huge problem for my amount of printing, but it could be a large annoyance that serves no obvious purpose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wasted money

I'm sorry, this printer isn't worth the cost of shipping even. I tore up, not working at all within a few months of purchase.
However, the Epson products, as a whole, are good, this I believe, and the customer service is even better, so I purchased different model Epson printer and hope to do better with this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson Expression Home XP-400 all in one printer

Well, I've had this printer for a few months now and I use it quite a bit. I works great and it's small so it fits in my space very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am overall fairly happy with this printer. It is small and fits well in the desired space. It is also much quieter than my last Epson printer. I have grown quite unhappy with the print quality. It has shadows on some of the printing which I have been unable to correct. I have only had this printer about 9 months with medium use so I don't understand the lack of print quality. Probably won't buy another Epson due to this problem. I do like the fact the ink doesn't disappear when damp!
