Great printer for the home. Price was good. The only drawback is that the ink cartridges don't last as long as other printers I've owned and are a little pricey. Other than that, Great printer!

The printer was straithforward to set up. It uses a lot of ink. Colour prints very slowly. Good quality prints, but expensive. Replaceing seperate colors is a good feature.

My concern is that the Epson Expression Home XP-400 requires me to purchase replacement ink cartridges more frequently--resulting in greater upkeep expense--than with my previous printer(s). I'm not sure if this is because more actual ink is being used for comparable work, or if the amount of ink--per cartridge--is smaller. While the price of the printer is less than my previous one, the eventual cost is likely to be higher because of what I judge to be excessive ink re-supplying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never lets me down

I love my Epson XP-400. It takes very little space on my desk, and does not have the usual tangle of cords. Even though cordless, it springs into action when I ask it to print. The quality of the prints is great. Colors are bright and images are sharp. The built-in scanner was a bonus I didn't expect, and I use it frequently. Also it has a setting to print various sizes of envelopes. It does it all, and it has never let me down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good printer for the price. Easy to set up. Responds well when printing on AirPrint with iPad or iPhone. Would recommend this printer.

Great Product & Inespensive

I purchased this printer in Dec of 2012 and it has was a great investment. I wanted an air printer because I have an I-pad and it has more than proven itself to me. A great value and great performance.
