The smallest AirPrint print I could find.

I bought this print because I have been looking for a small mobile printer that has AirPrint and WiFi capabilities. This printer has both along with a flatbed scanner. It is a little larger than I had hoped, it takes up quite a bit of the backseat of my truck, but it has allowed me to ditch my laptop and use my IPad for my day to day work.

Ok, If You're a PC Owner

This printer is really designed to work with the Windows operating system and most of the instructions in the user manual are written that way. I have a Mac, which makes working with this printer a little cumbersome. It still works, but is clumsy. For example, if you have a PC, you can scan documents wirelessly to your computer. With a Mac, it requires a USB cord and then it has to search and search for what else to do. These are not necessarily deal-breakers, but more like nuisances. It's loud.

This is a more than adequate printer that serves its purpose for me. It is for home use and works very well for wireless printing from iPhones, Androids, laptop, and IPad. I highly recommend this printer

Prints fine on letter size paper but does NOT function well at all when trying to print 4x6 or 5x7
Very frustrating! Which I had not purchased this printer.

This XP-400 is as it states "Simplicity" in every sense of the word. From set-up to printing, scanning, fax, all works wonderfully. Couldn't ask for more bang for your buck!

What I really like about the printer is the length of time that the ink lasts. I like the convenience of its smaller size so that my desk is not overly cluttered. It makes smear free copies. Overall I have been satisfied with this product, and one of my relatives purchased one as well.

I love Epson printers, but I have a small place so I wanted something smaller in size. I had a nice Epson all in one that worked fantastic. So I decided to see if Epson has smaller printers. I was glad to see they had the Small-in-One XP400. It fits better on the small bookcase in my computer area. I use it to digitize important papers, receipts and recently acquired a lot of family photos so I had to digitize those as well. The scanner part performed flawlessly! The printer works great! I don't use the printer a whole lot so my ink lasts quite a long time. But if you wanted to use it to print a lot of pages every day, ink probably would get used up much faster. The scan and print quality are both very good for my needs. Recently I moved from Windows to Linux and this printer also works in Linux Mint 14 (Ubuntu based). If you search in support, Epson does have Linux drivers to download for this printer. The scanner also works in Linux (just don't enable the IP tables "firewall" if you use the printer via WiFi). That's another thing I love about the printer is it works via WiFi and therefore no cables to hook up to the computer. Definitely a very good deal for the price I paid. I've had Epson printers through the years and come to know them for their quality and reliability. This is why if I ever need a printer/scanner/all in one, I'd certainly get an Epson again.

Printer is a "low end" printer, but does quite a good job for my "basic printing" needs in both B&W and color. The controls are fairly easy to understand and use. My only issue is that sometimes the WiFi seems to become disconnected and you need to reset the printer.
