I had been using an Epson 1999 printer and it just gave out. I am an 80 yr old that had never installed anything on my computer = always some one had done it for me. When I needed a new printer no one was here to help me so I figured I have to do this some how or other. I followed the directions that came with the printer and found I could do it without any problem. I now can print and scan pictures of my grandchildren without any difficulty. Hope this printer lasts as long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can't refill print cartridges

I just took in the barely filled print cartridge (why do we get a partially filled cartridge, do toy mfg put in a partially filled battery? cheap battery but partially filled? no). and the cartridge filler person said that my cartridge and all cartridges for my printer are non-fillable and to next time buy a printer that has cartridges you can refill. He said some even will blow up if you attempt to fill them, some internal device that will prevent you from refilling them. sad.

Epson XP-400 has the easiest installation, I do not have computer knowledge at all. I was able to install the wifi on the printer in less than ten minutes. This must be a printer for first time users ITS VERY EASY!!!Thanks Epson for making me feel like I knew what I was doing.

I purchased your printer because I understand I would be able to print without a wire. But it seems impossible to set up unless I have a wire.

I purchased my XP-400 yesterday and installed it this morning, so I've only printed a few things so far. BUT I am very pleased with the product. It was, for the most part, quite easy to install--a very important thing for a 60+ non-geek like me. It looks nice, has a relatively small footprint on my desk, and prints beautifully clear, crisp pages. My only complaint for the installation is that there are no clear instructions about how to use the onscreen keypad to input my WiFi system password. Fortunately the system is forgiving of errors and allowed me to return to the keypad numerous times until I figured it out properly. EPSON: Please add specific step-by-step instructions for using the keypad. It is not intuitive--again, not for 60+ non-geeks, anyway.
