As usual this smaller version of an Epson product performs excellent. I bought it for the features as well as the portability. I own an Epson 825 and an older 700 all are excellent printers. The color is great and the speed is fast. I think Epson is the best printer on the market. I do a lot of color prints and Epson has the best resolution and color correction.
By the way the scanner on even this lesser expensive model is great.

Easy Setup

This was the easiest printer to setup ever. I was worried I'd have a problem. My 13 year old daughter and I had it out of the box and printing in about 20 minutes. Then we added it to another computer in a few more minutes.

Easy Setup

I received the Epson XP-400 as a Christmas gift, and it was incredibly easy to set up. It only took about 45 minutes from the time I opened my box until I was able to print wirelessly from my MacBook Pro. For someone who doesn't like computer installations- this was as easy as it gets!

I had problems trying to setup other brands of wireless printers on my network for both PC and MAC. Not so with the Epson 400. Setup was a snap on both my PC and MAC!!! The print quality is excellent. It prints fast and quiet. And with AirPrint I can print from my iPad and iPhone. I'm sold on Epson.

Was worried about how difficult this would be for my 84 year old mother, it was so easy to set up. Love the quality of the prints and ease to print from smartphones!

So far has performed very well. Ink refills are less expensive than my previous epson printer. Printed 24 photos from an SD card and the results were very satisfactory. Will continue to use the various features to allow for a more comprehensive evaluation.
