Excellent Choice

I wanted something small, but powerful. This little printer does the job...big time. The setup was simple and quick. The print is crisp and clear, and the photos are bright with beautiful color.
I especially wanted a printer that does scans, and this one is amazing. This is my second Epson printer, and I couldn't be happier.
This one does not do CDs or DVDs, but I had that on my last one, but never used it so it isn't an issue for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

XP-400 all in one printer

set-up seems easy enough until you want to connect to your wireless network (WiFi). Then, nothing seems to work. I go back again and again to check all connections. Our old printer was connected to our airport wireless connection; when I tried to set up the new printer the same way - it refused to connect. I'm stuck & frustrated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The printer is a good size. It makes good copies and scans documents great. The quality of print is also good. I am not able to print w/o a wire on my Mac. The CD Drive doesn't work on my other old laptop, so I have been having trouble setting up the printer on that computer. The computer and website have been taking turns not working. Anytime you move the printer, the part of the plug that goes into the printer (not the wall) comes out. Overall I like this printer, even though I have had a few problems with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic

My wife and I use our printer in our home office. I've been able to print from my Android smart phone and my Nexus 7 tablet.
My Daughter and I print photos to frame in our home also.
For the money, this printer is great. No complaints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little printer

This printer works great! Printing from my tablet works like a charm with the google cloud print, and of course the wifi printing works good too. The dpi could be a little higher, but it was a fairly cheap printer and I dont expect much in that department. Looks great, saves on space, and can take the extra large ink cartriges. It does take a long time to print documents compared to other printers, but this is not a big deal for me (although it could be a dealbreaker for many). I like that I can access the inside entirely. It will make fixing paper jams a breeze. I havent scanned anything yet, but Im sure the scanner quality is just fine. All in all, I would say that this printer is a great buy. It does everything the larger all-in-one printers do, but in a very compact package (with lower dpi and slower printing, mind you.) So, if you dont mind the low dpi and slower pinting, definitely get this one.

This is a lot of performance for not a lot of money.
It is a nice compact machine, makes great copies and scans, is fast, easy to set up and operate, and the print quality is excellent.
The ink cartridges seem to be a lot more economical than what I have in my other printers and I appreciate that.
