setup/printer cable

just finished unpacking (yesterday) and partially setting up. printer powered off to conserve energy when i stopped setup. just now did the software part and it pickud up right where i stopped. was a breeze. set it up wi-fi and did need a printer cable (not provided) but saved me the trouble of entering ssid and wifi password by useing it,though the quick setup i used says it can be done that way if you want the firewall and password problems sometimes associated with wifi

Great price, very easy hook-up and user friendly. If you are buying for office use it is a little slow but for home use it will suffice.

Easy, easy set-up

My husband purchased this Epson Printer and had it set up to all of our wireless devices within minutes. We also just set up our 10 year old pc so it too prints wirelessly. I'm impressed with how easy and straight forward the whole process was, and that is literally out-of-the-box to printing. There is also a scan and copy option, in addition to printing docs and photos in color. The price was extremely reasonable.....and, we definitely got a lot of bang for our buck with the this little printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good replacement for cx7400

Got a lot of use of our old epson cx7400 and cannot get quality output from that one any more. Have used the one day new XP-400 for printing our family concert poster which contains a photo on matte photo supreme and it came out nicely. Only using USB interface as of now. Options available with this printer are very close to those I have with the old epson. In summary, the caviat of this review is that I have only used this specific XP-400 for one day, but I have been happy with epson printers in general so far (for years).

Great printer! Easy to set up and start using right away. I did have to use a USB cable to set up, was unable to use the WiFi for set up. But other than that it was easy and fast. Works great and has great color images every time with basic printing for flyers and forms, even when ink is getting low, it still gives me good color copies.
Great for at home use. I print forms and flyers and lots of other things. Have not used it for color photos with photo paper, so not sure how that would work, but everything else has been great.
It's my 3 Epson printer and not my last. So much better than my last printer, not an Epson and gave me nothing buy grief for almost a year. Very happy with the price I paid and the quality I have gotten with this printer.

What a wonder to have a wireless printer. Gives me extra space on my desk w/o the extra cord. Nice size, fast printing, easy to use.

Easy to setup

This XP-400 wireless printer was a dream to install! I bought it to print PayPal credit card receipts using my iPhone 4s on a small private network uses only for the printer. If I had one complaint is that the Quick Start procedures recommended using a USB cable computer setup but there is no USB port on this printer. But the Wireless setup selection on the MENU went flawlessly so no USB cable was needed.

Excellent and Light Weight

Worth the Money !!! Easy Setup, Good Quality.. Very Compact and Light Weight. Scanning is perfect, go for it. Don't Buy Cheap Products, by a Epson.
