Love this little machine. It is great for use with my iPhone and iPad. Works well with my laptop as well.

I'm writing a book about playing the game of golf, having played it for the past 60 years. It always takes several draft versions initiated on my computer and printed on my Epsom before I can use what I've written. I also need to copy or scan other printed material to work with. My Epson can do all of this quickly, easily and, when needed, colorfully.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Initially the wireless printing worked then within 3 days the wireless function no longer worked.. Never got it to do the scan to laptop function... even after I followed the directions, uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled.. I returned it within 10 days of purchase
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Little Printer

I am a professional photographer and bought this to print pages of text. It does a GREAT job, and is fast at printing text. I find that it's also great for printing 4x6 photos. My Epson Stylus Photo 1400 is used for larger photo prints, but does not like to handle small 4x6 ones. I now use the XP-400 for those small photos. I placed this printer on the other side of the house and use wireless printing. I also like that my husband can access this printer from his laptop and I no longer have to do his printing for him from my desktop computer. I have owned Epson printers for many years, have had no problems with any of them, and really enjoy my new XP-400. It's also nice that it is also a copier.

Purchased the XP-400 because it is wireless. We are working mostly from Ipads and this has fit the bill perfectly. Very easy to set up and reasonable prices on ink. Small foot print allows it to be set up under the TV with the home entertainment stuff.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You get you pay for

We bought this because our other epson is in storage while we are moving but need a printer. The price was good for what we need and didn't want another big printer.
Well it worked well enough in the beginning but as soon as I started using a cable to scan, I could no longer use the wi-fi to print. Even though everything is online and reading fine I can't get it to print.
So frustrating. ultimately I would just buy the next level up and hope for better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
