EPSON XP400

This printer was the easiest/smoothest installation I have ever experienced. It is my first EPSON printer but I am already very impressed with its performance. The price was VERY affordable. The SD card port will make printing my pictures from my camera a breeze!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never Again!

I had high hopes that this little printer would be all that I had read that it would be. When it prints, it's great. However, it slows down and frequently stops all together. Reinstalling the software did not help. I have more than enough memory on my Mac. The XP-400 performs the same for my iPad and my husbands Mac. Definitely extremely dissatisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just got it and it stopped working, first when we change the ink, it keeps saying ink is not right, ink is empty, etc.

The worst printer I have ever had and I have had many printers. Hard to set up and harder to use. Very slow in printing. Would not recommend to anyone!

Replace Ink Cartridge Messages Driving Me Nuts

This is an inexpensive, relatively reliable printer.
BUT, it does not print in just black and white, rather "grayscale." This means that it will eat up all your ink while producing a "black and white" document.
I'm growing increasingly more frustrated with manufactured self-centered technologies: the whole world revolves around them. Whether it's updates popping up and impeding work on your computer, or it's printers that demand more and more ink. I'm beyond frustrated.

Over rated printer

I purchased the Epson XP 400 a year ago to print pictures at home but I didn't set it up until last week. Well, all the pictures came out terrible. So, I bought new sets of ink thinking the printer would print better since the one from factory have been in the box for a year. I was totally wrong , so very disappointe and waisted extra $$ on the new ink. I see why this product have been discontinued.

Not having much computer savvy, this was very easy to install and use. The only feature I have not used is printing a photo, but it will probably be just as easy to use as the other features. This is the best value for my needs.

Inexpensive, easy to set up, space saver, and good copies. I really don't know much else that you could ask for. Keep in mind, I am technically challenged by many things, age being a major factor, and I figured it out.
