I replaced a high sierra backpack that I had for about 6 years that I loved. The ordered the one most similar to the one I had hoping for the same great funcationality and durability. There are many similarities, but also some concerning changes. I do like all the compartments and was hoping they would be similar and some are, but some changes are not improvement. Overal a great back pack, but my concerns are the small pocket on the front of the back pack. The zipper is wider, but the pocket is not as deep. I like to keep my phone cords in this, but now everytime I open that compartment it seems to vomit out evertyhing. Zippers dont stay zipped. I noticed everytime I got somewhere, some of my compartment would be open. At first I thought maybe I was forgetting to zip them but then it kept happening. My first venture with my new backpack included sprint from one gate to another and when I got there I had people trailing behind me with items that had fallen out because zippers became unzipped. The mesh side pockets are smaller than they used to be making it difficult to determine what to carry in them now.
I would recommend this to a friend!
