I bought this long time ago can’t remember the exact date Approximately 10 yrs and been using it lately for traveling the globe it was really cool but I guess it can’t be forever. I have the ELITE a great backpack model very similar to this XBT. The right hand strap adjustable sliding buckle which is made of plastic finally broke but that’s after a decade of use at least that I remember and I wish maybe nowadays metal Buckle would be good idea. It’s not useable at this point now since I can’t strap it behind me but all in all it’s a great Backpack wish High Sierra can replace mine with XBT Since they’re very similar strap it behind me
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice bag but weak seams

As a student, I use this bag for transporting my books mostly. I have used it a few times for disk golfing, but I never abused the bag. Within a few months of use, a tear began at the top of the bag on the main pocket seam. After about a year of use, the hole is 4 inches long, there is a tear where the drink holder attaches, and the headphone pocket is starting to detach. Pros: Looks good Lightweight Strong fabric Large carry capacity Cons: Weak stitching No rain bag This is my third bag from high Sierra. The last one retired after 6 years of use. I really like the bags, but not if quality has dropped over the years.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity
Oh my! I have found the backpack of my dreams! My daughter said she has never seen someone get so excited over a backpack. If you use a backpack daily you need this!
Bought this backpack in preparation for college as my old high school bag is getting a little worn out, and I needed something with a laptop compartment. I really like the steel cable running through the top handle, and it seems to be a pretty solid backpack overall. Lots of different places for you to stash your stuff. However, when I put my laptop in its compartment it feels like it takes a notable amount of space from the main cavern, and it might be a little difficult to haul multiple textbooks around in addition. That's not to say the main pocket is small, just something for other students to think about. Also, the zippers are a bit bigger than those of my last bag, and are a little harder to pull/make a bit more noise than my old ones, but I'm just nitpicking at this point, they're perfectly functional otherwise. I've seen others complain about the stitching on some of the seams failing, but none of that has happened to me yet (although I've only had the bag for about a month so far, so I'll keep an eye on it). So far I would for sure recommend it.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, High Quality, Stylish

I gave this backpack to my high school son for school use as a Christmas present. This was to replace an LL Bean backpack he had used for 4 years without issue. Five months later, this High Sierra backpack has substantial tears and ripped seams. The straps are almost shot. This is a terrible product...do not buy.
This is my second High Sierra backpack and absolutely love the flexibility options for storage; the durability, and the ease and roominess of all the pockets visible and invisible. I can carry everything I need for work or out traveling. My first one is still in excellent shape, used it for school; albeit a little tight for all my work stuff so I ordered the XBT TSA Backpack and very pleased with the extra space and storage. You will never need to buy another backpack with the technology space and other space good for work and travel.
