Love the look of a slide-in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range 2 years ago and just noticed this e-mail. I love the look of this slide-in range. The smooth cook top cleans up fairly well. The one thing that I do not like at all is the self cleaning oven. It does not clean very well at all. I have several spots that I cannot remove. The water you pour in the bottom to create steam is a joke when it comes to wiping off crud in your oven. I would give the self cleaning oven a F

Issue with edge of control panel
on March 19, 2022

Hi, we purchased a model number WEE745H0FS2 electric range on February 21 of 2021. During January of 2022, we noticed stains on the edge of the control panel. We also found out that others had the same issue. We have never cleaned the range control panel with any abrasive cleaners. Is Whirlpool working on a solution to this defective part? Please get back to me.

Within the first year, fortunately under warranty, we had our main control board replaced 3 times as the 3,6,9 and light buttons were non-responsive or intermittently responsive. Now that the warranty is up, we have the intermittent responsiveness which is extremely inconvenient as we use our oven almost every other day. Now, the oven won't come up to temperature past 250F on bake (set at 425F) and 300F on convection roast (set at 400F).

What were they thinking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not self clean. Top scratches easy. Knobs are in the way. To easy to change the oven temperature once you have it set for what you need.

The touchpad is aggravating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I love the two large elements, and the actual use of the elements and oven output is wonderful, the control pad for the oven is quite aggravating. You have to push too many buttons, too many times to just get the oven on and adjusted to the temp you need. The timer button, when pushed, either turns on/off multiple times, or once you put the time in, and hit the timer button again to turn it on, it will turn on/off. So you have to start all over again. The rapid preheat button doesn't work properly. The convection settings are also hard to pin down, and I think I'm finally getting the hang of them. Convection broil is fantastic. Keep warm also works well. The warming element is nice, when you can get it to the on position without having to push it multiple times. You have to push to hard, and then on, off, on, off, on and then you can breathe a sigh of relief. My entire family despises the control pad.

Worst stove ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased less than 30 days ago. First use and I noticed a flaw beneath the ceramic glass top. In addition it has poor heating mechanisms. Either gets too hot or barely heats .Called manufacturer only to be told a repair company would evaluate it, then the appointment was never even entered . COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED with this entire product line. Sad that this is one of four whirlpool appliances I purchased with my renovation .Choose another product line.

Touch plate for operations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove like a month ago - overall I love the look. The problem I have is that the knobs and the touch plate always have fingerprints on and gets a smudge appearance. It is only my husband and I - cannot imagine what it would look like if more people were using the stove.
