Could be Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this because I wanted a double oven and don’t have room for wall mounted ones. Right off the bat installation was frustrating. We had to move our outlet in our wall to accommodate the plug, otherwise the oven would stick out too far; which speaking of, it already sticks out because it has these two knobs at the top on the back that keep it from sitting flush with the wall. Weird and I don’t know what purpose they serve and why they’re there. Sadly, the top oven on this appliance is a hot mess. Burns bottom of food, not cooked on top. We put thermometers inside and it’s insane; I had the temp at 350 and it was at 500!!!!!! We then tried to calibrate and it got slightly better but still, the temp a thermometer gives me is not the temp I have it set to. It also swings quite a lot which I don’t understand. I don’t want an oven who “senses” when the temp should change. I just want the temp to be what I set, and nothing else. So anyway, essentially the top rack is not something that I can find myself successfully using to bake or make any types of “sensitive” foods; works mostly for casseroles or things if the like. I made green bean casserole fine in the top, because it’s a more liquid base. Bottom oven is fine thus far, though we had to calibrate it as well. I will say the convection function works well and cooks food perfectly; I made a great batch of homemade cinnamon rolls successfully in the bottom oven so I call that a win. The stovetop is fine; I really love the really big burner for my Dutch ovens that are large for typical sized burners. We are slightly disappointing that the top oven is essentially useless for most food items. Kinda makes it pointless to have. But overall the appliance has worked well for us.

DO NOT BUY

I bought this oven 2 months ago. Within that time the start button has failed to work numerous times and won't turn on the oven. So much for baking. I have been told that condensation will get behind the control panel or too much heat will cause it to stick. I thought I was buying quality product but I did not. Highly Disappointed

Replacement for previous double oven - not as good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After just a couple of months of use, the problems I see are: 1 - No proofing feature which we knew going in. I don't see a reason why they cannot add this great feature. 2 - When the top oven has the rack on the bottom, it is difficult to slide out as it hits the open door. It also burns the bottom of whatever is cooking even though the temperature is correct. I never had that issue with my other double oven. When the rack is on the top, the top of the item gets too hot. Not sure how I'm going to get around these issues. 3 - No double timer - 1 for each oven The range is okay - Not as good as the old LG though.

Same problem different brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neither oven is heating to temperature straight out of the box! This is why I got rid of my old stove and the stove before that - I would think that after all these years the technology would have improved, but NO. I have read all the instructions, know how to calibrate it myself (which I should NOT need to do ever - much less straight off the truck). I realize there are normal temp fluctuations during baking in any oven - but over 30º low at 350º is way off. I use oven thermometers that all show the SAME temp (the correct one) when placed in our pellet smoker- so it's NOT the thermometers. The voltage from the plug is also correct. Yes, I read MANY reviews and was concerned and, Alas, here we are. Stovetop works great - but so would a hotplate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No instructions for use

No owners manual to show how to do anything. Took too long to just figure out how to set clock. No info on how to work anything features. I have opened every document and no details on how to operate. Cannot afford to include owners instructions

Double oven stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like this stove very much but wish it would fit up against the wall better. The cord holds the stove out more than we would like. The double oven feature is great and the stove top heats up very quickly. If there was some way to give a space for the cord, it would be wonderful. I would then give the oven a five star rating.
