Oven racks an inch too short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the features and I like the new range overall I was so very very disappointed to discover I can no longer place 2 cookie sheets side by side on the oven rack!!!! It’s an inch too short!! The door will not close!! I’ve never had an oven rack that was too short!! Other than the short oven rack- everything else seems to work well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Double Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good! Having a double oven is a dream come true! I got it for Xmas and couldn’t be happier! Only thing is that the glass on the cooktop has some “staining” that won’t come off no matter how many times I wipe them whether top is warm or cold. I had to use the self clean feature and that was fine but I set it for 3 hour clean and after 4.5 it was still going, it didn’t stop by itself. It looks great with the Whirlpool spacesaver microwave!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven does not cook properly. Things don’t brown, they don’t cook properly. Almost as if the heat shuts off and in. I’ve had numerous ranges over 59 years and have never had this issue. Really disappointed.

GLASS TOP ALWAYS LOOKS SMUDGED AND DIRTY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS OVEN WOULD BE A 5 STAR IF THE GLASS TOP COULD LOOK CLEAN BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET STOVETOP TO LOOK CLEAN! This is the reason for the 3 star rating. I like the design and features but IT ALWAYS LOOKS SMUDGED AND DIRTY. MY OLD OVEN'S GLASS TOP CLEANED OFF BEAUTIFULLY AND DIDN'T SHOW SMUDGES. I WILL BUY FROM WHIRLPOOL AGAIN JUST NOT AN OVEN WITH THIS KIND OF GLASS ON TOP.

Double oven, pre-heat time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our double oven about 2 weeks ago so it’s hard to say how things will turn out long term but so far we are happy with it. The one issue we have is that it didn’t come with any instructions on how to use it and the “installers” gave us no demonstration.
The installers that we paid for only installed the plug on the back of the oven. They did not plug it in or move it off its box and put it in place. My husband is a tall strong man and had difficulty moving this on his own.
Had we known the packaging didn’t include instructions we would have insisted the unfriendly “installers” demonstrate its use. It really takes some trial and error to figure out how to use.
Really enjoy the double oven and being able to cook so many items at once or just use the top oven for smaller items. Another plus the ovens preheat very quickly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range a month ago. I was very excited to have a double oven! It looks amazing. However…the top oven temperatures is way off and it makes it very difficult for baking. It is at least 20° higher than normal, and I’m still trying to adjust the time and temperature to get food to not burn. Also, the surface where the burners are at, has not even been used very much. Yet, the finish is starting to come off of one of the burners already? I also have found it very difficult to keep the top clean. I even called the Maytag company, requesting what kind of cleaner to use, because I was having such a hard time. I have been using the recommended cleaning spray and I’m still having a hard time. I am beginning to really question my purchase on this stove. But, I have been pleased with my other Maytag purchases.
