Excellent Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range a couple weeks ago, and after a bit of use, I can say that this is easily the best one I've ever owned. The smaller upper oven heats quickly (less than 10 minutes to reach 450F from cold), and is extremely convenient for making frozen appetizers or pan sheet meals, and is very useful for making pizza on a stone (I'd recommend preheating the stone for at least 20 minutes at full temperature before baking the pizza to ensure that the crust gets crispy. The convection oven also works perfectly and heats quickly. Obviously, it draws more power than a conventional oven, but it requires less heating and cooking time. The convection cycle really shines with roasting veggies, particularly if they are properly coated in oil prior to baking.
The cooktop is also very nice. It heats very quickly, and the elements run a little hot. I found that I needed to reduce the cooking temp about 20% to hit the proper temperatures. This stove works beautifully with cast iron and stainless steel. The extra large burner is nice, as is the warming zone. The keypad takes a little getting used to, especially with the timer. Old habits dies hard, I guess. Overall, I've been extremely happy with this range and would generally recommend it to anyone, with the caveat that I haven't owned it long enough to speak to it's durability and reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am actually not certain how to rate my new double oven. The burners work well, though I am not thrilled with the sizing. I find the top oven to be quite small, certainly too small for a bunt cake or an angel food cake. I find the oven controls difficult to use, especially when both ovens are on and I want to raise the temperature of one and I have to go through the whole press 1 for upper oven and 2 for lower oven. Completely separate controls for each would be easier, I had on my old Frigidaire double oven. As well, I cannot understand why each time I go to change the oven from 325 to 350 I get 290 and preheating. That makes me skeptical about how well the oven is heating and whether 325 is really 325.
