[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice range but there is a burn off I guess, a lot of fumes when you bake for the first couple times, not so bad now but still getting fumes

this is my third double oven from whirlpool. my other ones were just perfect, hence the reason I bought this for a new house. this one doesn't have a lower light in the oven, nor do the oven doors come off! the glass panes are disgusting after three years. Just love the two ovens though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This double-oven range is perfect for my small kitchen. I generally only cook for 1 or 2 people at a time, so the small upper oven is what I use most often. It's like having an excellent toaster oven without taking up counter space. So far, I have baked in both ovens and I used the frozen bake feature in the upper oven. The cooking has been even and accurate. I also have broiled and am very pleased with how evenly the food is browned.
I love the sturdy control knobs and the rest of the control buttons are user-friendly. The purchase of this range enticed me to upgrade my refrigerator to a Whirlpool as well!

Smooth Top Range--- Ya right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After waiting for months and months for it to arrive, the very 1st time we set a pan on this smooth top, it scratched. After trying for days to reach Whirlpool, with NO luck, we sent an e-mail to try to get some info on WHY a stove top in this day and age would scratch with on use! After a couple weeks, we received a response from the company, they simply referred us to their website that said be careful this smooth top might scratch ! REALLY ! SERIOUSLY ?????? Needless to say the lady of the house is besides herself and the man of the house is not hearing any end to it ! Waiting forever for a beautiful new range and the smooth top can't take a frying pan without being scratched !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Design but Hard to Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a nice oven. We already had Whirlpool appliances in our kitchen so we bought this oven to match those.
The only reason I didn't give the product 5 stars is because of cleaning. It's a bit of a pain to clean the top (typical for glass tops and we bought a special cleaning kit with scraper that makes it easier) and the stainless needs cleaned with stainless cleaner. But, the main problem is the glass windows on the oven doors. a small amount of humidity can build up inside the doors and run down the inside the glass making it impossible to clean without disassembly (which I'm not going to do).

Good oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the double-oven feature, which allows us to bake a cake and roast a chicken at the same time. Overall, it's a great oven. Though some controls are kind of quirky, like most features, after making selection, require pushing the Start button. However, the Timer feature does not require this sequence. You have to press Timer button again to start.
One of the biggest pet peeves is the difficulty to clean spots on the surface, especially the burned on ones. I'm not sure if this is applicable to all glass cooktop, but it's frustrating to have several permanent stains on your brand new oven.
Functionality wise, I like the oven.

Beautiful Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this range for over a year now and am very happy with it with only two issues. 1. I failed to allow room for the bottom exterior door handle until the range was installed and I was not able to open my adjacent dishwasher. I now have to open the bottom range door to be able to open to load and unload my dishwasher. 2. I use the top small range almost exclusively and love it, but when I need to use a larger oven, I find that it can be difficult and challenging to lift hot heavy items from such a low level. Other than those two issues, I love this range and all it's wonderful features.
