The double oven is more valuable than thought

Great Freestanding Range but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good...great array of features with this stove, love the ability to customize the burner rings on the glasstop to the size of pan/skillet. Nice looking and it matches all the other Whirlpool appliances with light stainless steel. Speed of heating up the burners is fast! Used top oven with no issues.
The not so good...those of us who like the back of stove flush with the wall may be in for a bit of a letdown. First the electrical plug outlet has to be on the bottom close to the floor and either to the left or right of center of the back of the oven because this is where the oven has recessed cavities to tuck the plug when its plugged into the wall outlet. If your plug is in the center of the wall, the stove will not push back and there may be a 1.5"-3" gap with the stove protruding in front of the kitchen countertops as we've experienced, annoying to say the least:( Last but not least, another reviewer brought this up, I didn't think much of it at the time, but Whirlpool, what's with the two .5" reverse dimples at the top of the stove on either side? Just another reason the stove won't go flush against the wall!

Epilogue...extra $$$ for us to have an electrician move the outlet to the left or right since ours is dead center where is a no recess cavity. FYI, we swapped this oven for a standard Whirlpool oven which had full cavities on the back, stove was right up against the wall. The reverse dimple effect, we'll have to see how much the oven can be pushed back, buts it looking .5" gap at least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Takes too long to heat up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On our second one. Takes way to long to heat up, even the small top oven. Glass top stains easily and has a lip along edges that catches everything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my double oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it, except for the stainless steel handles. I had to paint the handles black because I did not want a stainless steel appliance. Note that the cooktop heats up very quickly which is awesome, and the ovens preheat so fast!

Great double oven range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just what I was looking for! I really like the fact that there is two completely separate oven doors. The weight of the doors is also impressive. I am single and will be using the smaller oven a lot. Baking bread is a favorite for the bottom oven. Controls are easy to read and select. Very happy with this product.
