I love everything about my dryer

It is exactly what I was looking for. The steam feature is awesome! I wanted wrinkle free clothes, and I got it. I got a matching GE washer and I love both. I tried other brands before, but I wasn't happy with them. I'm glad I decided to try the GE combo.

Dries very fast!

Dries clothes very fast. Had a problem with the drum being out of balance when it was installed, they ordered a new part and got it installed within 2-3 weeks. Working great now.

Every bit as excellent as the matching washer

We were directed toward this GE electric dryer by the appliance salesman. We’d had problems with another make. The salesman said that the GE was the most trouble-free brand they sold, but that in the event of a problem, the parts were manufactured in the US and quickly available. We are so glad we purchased this dryer and the the matching washer. The dryer has a wide variety of settings and can safely dry anything from delicates to bulky comforters and sleeping bags. It has the capacity for two sets of queen sized sheets and four pillowcases. The noise level is reasonable, and the steam feature is nice to have.

Have used the dryer several times and really love it. I installed the dryer as a stackable unit using the brackets ordered from GE. These were very hard to deal with. The screws to attach the bracket to the dryer were bigger than the holes in the dryer. The rubber pads that replace the feet would not stay on and had to be superglued to the dryer.

NO MORE DAMP CLOTHES!

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM WITH THIS NEW DRYER. MY OLD DRYER WOULD STOP BEFORE THE CLOTHES WERE COMPLETELY DRY AND IT WAS A CONSTANT PAIN HAVING TO TURN THE DRYER ON AGAIN AND AGAIN, UNTIL THEY WERE ACTUALLY DRY. THIS DRYER DRYS LIKE A CHARM! I PUT THE CLOTHES IN, PICK THE SETTING AND IN 34 MINUTES, THEY ARE DRY! LOVE IT!

GE Dryer

Purchased this dryer about two months ago and is just as great as the washer! The BEST feature for me is the “Steam Dewrinkle,” removing wrinkles and pressing garments that have already been dried, including bulky Carhart work flannels. Always come out looking as if they were ironed straight from the dryer! Another great feature is the “Damp Alert,” notifying you to remove jeans or other items that you don’t want completely dry. LOVE IT!!

I seem to have to dry the clothes longer. That may be due to my only using the middle spin cycle on the washer. (I use the medium washer spin to proetect the clothes from getting knotted together or damaged.)
Though I like the metal versus plastic, the lint trap is difficult to remove and re-insert.
