We have had this GE electric dryer for 1 week. Performs as a brand new dryer should. My husband feels that it is a lot louder than our last dryer. It is in a basement laundry room so it doesn't bother me as I can't hear it upstairs. One thing I wish was different so far it the Power button is on the right side, just above the start button. It never fails that I hit the Power button instead of the start button every time and have to start over with options... I will add to this review once we have it for a couple more months... It does look nice also..

I bought the prior version of this dryer a year ago. It left marks on my clothes. GE did replace it for free which was admirable, but the same thing is happening with this dryer. It does dry well, but that doesn't make up for the marks left on my clean clothes that happens randomly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the washer and dryer set and really like both. Hardly takes any time at all to dry a full load of towels. My old dryer would take over an hour. Due to the washer spinning the clothes of nearly all of the water the dryer only takes about 23 mins to dry a full load of towels. Very happy.
