I wouldn't get this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no temperature gauge on these. They are way too hot. I also think the clips they provide are awkward and leave crimps on your hair. I wanted to like this but I think it would work way better if the temperature was adjustable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The problem I had was getting the rollers on at first. I'd recommend leaving for a good while and trying it on freshly blow fried hair since they didn't work the best, but the results were better than expected.

Some Good, Some Bad, Would Not Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love curling products. Although I have naturally curly hair, I love the controlled beautifully beach wavy look that is very popular. My hair is short-to-mid length, a little below my chin. Obviously, my hair is a little short for these to work ideally, but I understand that and don't knock any points off for it. They are clearly designed for longer hair.
There are a few issues with this product that make me hesitant to recommend these to anybody. The first is they don't really get all that hot. If you have hair that has a tough time curling, these are likely not going to work for you. It was nice that they didn't scald my hands, but that lack of heat means they didn't do a great job of making lasting curls in my hair.
The clips on these are truly atrocious. Like many curlers, you need something to hold them in place. The attached clips on these are plastic and they are a FLIMSY plastic at that. While it held them in place, I came very close to breaking a few of them just trying to USE them. They will NOT stand the test of time. They need to use either a thicker, tougher plastic or they need to use metal clips with rubber tips for the hands. No way this set of curlers with the clips is going to last you more than a few months. You'll be out trying to find more in no time.
You really don't get enough curlers in here to do a full head of hair. If your hair is a normal thickness or thick, you will be left with sections that simply won't have curlers. There just aren't enough for this to cover a full head of hair.
The price for these rollers is truly outrageous given the quality of the product. I just would never recommend these to anyone, sorry.

Good, But Could Be Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Conair Mega Volume Waves did not give a lot of volume for one crucial reason: the clips do not hold the rollers in well enough. I am not sure if it is because my hair is so fine, or short, or what, but the curler would fall out and hit me in the face every time that I would try to leave the curlers in. Eventually I gave up on the clips and just held it in my hair so that I could at least have a single result, and then result was ok, but no volume was achieved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product in exchange for my review. These are the biggest rollers I have ever used and they give you tons of volume. Even with my long hair the volume stayed for about 5 hours. It creates a very soft wave. Do not expect this to curl your hair. I would imagine the shorter your hair, the more volume you will get. I gave 4 stars because 8 rollers was not quite enough for my hair. 12 rollers would have been perfect! Also the clips that come with this are flimsy and hard to work with. Heats up fast. Definitely would recommend!
