bought two- both defective and clips don't hold

I bought two - I use hot rollers a lot and a recent stylist said in an article to use 24 jumbo hot rollers to get that 90's glam!
Both sets have been plugged in for an hour and the red light has not changed to white to say they are hot enough. They are also lukewarm. So, it looks like this model is just defective. However, the clips also don't hold. a big heavy jumbo hot roller needs a clip with a stronger grip and maybe more surface area. These just instantly flop around and as a result, don't stay at the angle you need to get volume. So even if I got them for free, and if they heated up,- I wouldn't use them because they would set my hair at an angle to give me flat hair.

This is a great set. It heats up in as little as 5 minutes. The bummer is they need to come up with a better way to clip the curlers in. It is very frustrating. PLEASE FIND SOMETHING BETTER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So according to the directions, the rollers are heated when the red light turns white, but mines never turned white after letting it heat up for about 30 mins. So after 30 mins, I put the rollers in and left them for about 15 mins. The clips don't keep the rollers rolled up tight but they stayed in place. The hair was curled once I removed the rollers but after about 1 hour, the curls fell. I had to follow up with my flat irons to re-curl them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rollers themselves are nice, but the clips don't hold them in well. There's also not enough rollers. I have long hair down to the middle of my back and there just aren't enough rollers to do my whole head. It would be better if they were a little smaller, more of them, and a better clip. I would not recommend these as I have used better rollers in the past.

Amazing volume

At first I thought they were like any other roller all I was gonna get is some curls .. but they lifted my hair without product .. definitely recommend if your looking to add more volume or even just a wavy look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited about trying this product but I have to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. The clips do not hold the rollers at all. The rollers are far too big and heavy to be held in place by the plastic clips. Unfortunately because of that they either flopped over or fell off all together. When they flopped they started to burn me so I had to adjust them constantly or remove them. Because of all of this, I really couldn't get a good wave that lasted. When I removed them it looked nice but because of all the issues the wave just fell out and my hair went limp and straight. I think if they make an adjustment to the clips in some way this could be a good product.
