I ordered this product because someone told me that my Runner's Knee was really an IT band problem, and something like this would help. I did some research and found that this was the best for the price - or so the internet said as much. I've been having some serious knee issues that wouldn't allow me to run beyond three or four miles without pain and after doing some IT band stretches and using this roller on the IT band, I was able to run five miles and then over eight miles the next run without feeling the knee pain I had previously. This has saved my training for the upcoming half-marathon I'm participating in in just under two months.For the price, this is fantastic. There is no squeaking and the ball-bearings work wonderfully to massage the areas I need, regardless of light or firm pressure.

This was a gift for my very practical husband, and he was skeptical. One use and he was sold! I used this to roll his back and shoulders for only a few minutes, and he was completely relaxed like jello! It is very sturdy and firm, comfortable to hold in your hand while the rolling is smooth. Massaging his sore back would also aggravate my carpal tunnel, but this doesn't. He gets a much better back rub in half the time, with no discomfort for me! I'm excited to see how it feels after a workout and how well I can use it on myself, too.
