I had one of these already for about 3-4 year, but this one I ordered for my mother is way better. I move much easier than the older model.

UST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED! - Ever since my accident involving my hip and pelvis, I have been using this massage bar. I first was introduced to this product/too in my physical Therapy secession. This has been a life changer for me. Great product I recommend 100%!

The massage bar is balanced and works the body with smooth action. It helps me tune up my muscles even between workouts. I haven't used a massage bar before this purchase and since I have had it I have told several friends and family about it.

I am a strength & conditioning coach and I use this on many of my clients and athletes. I have used many massage bars on the market, everywhere from the cheaper Gaia products to the overpriced "the stick." This sucker works great. The ball bearings allow for smoothness and the weight of the bar works great. The actual roller part is rubber so it makes it easy to clean. For the price, i don't think it can be beat.

As a weight lifter, my muscles take quite a beating stemming from overuse injuries and just generally performing the big three with high frequency. Consequently, I perform a LOT of self myofascial release using a foam roller, a lacrosse ball and this massage bar. My biggest problem areas are my legs, particularly my rectus femoris muscles, my vastus medialis muscles and my glutes. Not much I can do with this to work on my glutes but this is absolutely AMAZING for rolling out my rectus femoris and my VMO. It is very easy to apply variable amounts of pressure when using the tool (especially in comparison to using a foam roller or lacrosse ball) and angling it to target the muscle from a slightly different angle is easy as well. I haven't found much of a way to use it outside of using it on leg musculature but because it does the job so well for my legs, I have to give the item five stars. If you suffer from consistent tightness and soreness in your leg muscles, this is absolutely a worthwhile investment and I recommend it to anyone looking to improve their tissue quality.

I bought this at the suggestion of my trainer, who used it on me. I do high intensity resistance training, and this roller is easy to apply to sore and strained muscles and fascia, for quicker recovery and increased blood flow. I find it easier to use than simple foam rollers, due to the handles. It also allows one to differentiate pressure more easily when applying it to different parts of one's body.

Before I purchased GoFit’s 18 inch Massage Bar - I did my homework and looked at all the top rated massage rollers online and their associated reviews. It took me less than 60 seconds of actual use to confirm I had selected a winner. The 10 inch firm rubber textured rolling surface felt great on bare skin as compared to rock hard slippy plastic. It had substantial weight and did not bend. The roller turned smoothly on ball-bearings instead of plastic sliding on metal. The two 4 inch textured non-slip grips allowed a light hand grip for ease of use. Bottom line: GoFit’s Massage Bar is a true winner because of its professional quality and feel.

The ball bearings in this product make it far superior to the plastic ones and other ones on the market! It rolls much smoother and feels more comfortable against your body. The only negative I have with this one is that the color shows dirt easily. A chiropractor friend of mine has the plastic version. This version is much smoother. Also, when I purchased this it was cheaper than the other versions. I have since purchased 3 for family members.
