Strong and heavy

Initially I thought I had damaged safe because I couldn’t get it open and the key comes inside the case. What I realized was that it has a tight seal and you need to push down on the case while pressing the white release near the handle. Once I got it open I was completely satisfied with the product. it is heavy, strong and fits the documents that I needed to secure. I recommend this product for anyone looking to keep items secure in the event of an emergency. Store those items to need to keep safe, such as passports, birth certificates, back information, and items which are irreplaceable.

Will not latch properly when locking

I've worked with similar versions of this safe i the past so I felt comfortable with purchasing it. It has sat unused for a good period of time just due to not having anything needed stored during that time however when I finally needed to put some in it, not matter how hard my husband I both tried it would not latch properly to lock. Im extremely disappointed. Never had one be so difficult. Ultimately we gave up because it was so frustrating.

Damaged safe. Lib fell off

This was a good safe until the lid fell off Lid should been constructed better . Plastic mobs with white power doesn’t seem strong enough

Nice secure box but finicky.

Works well to protect the contents from unauthorized access. However, it also impairs authorized access being a royal pain to open. I finally got the key to to move the lock freely; now the button is extremely difficult to operate, requiring me to forcefully hit the top near the front, while it is placed on a solid surface, to get the latch to disengage!

Poor latch design/function

Hard to open and close

I do not like this safe as it is very hard for me to open and close as I have very little hand strength to push down on the top and pull up on the latch at the same time. I only bought it as my old Sentry Safe with the lock in the handle on top would no longer turn and lock. I bought a different one initially but it was too heavy for me to lift and had no handle so I returned it and bought this smaller model. Everything I had to put in it barely fit but at least it has a handle to help me lift it. I wish I hadn't had to replace my old safe as it was perfect for my needs. Dont like the style change at all.
