Went through a house fire

My house burnt down in a fire and I lost everything. The entire house had to be demolished, all my furniture and clothing were lost, everything. Except my lock box! The outside was (of course) burnt badly. The plastic latch had melted against the outside. We had to take a small hatchet and break the latch off. But when we opened it, everything on the inside was in perfect condition. I lost everything in the fire, but at least this one single thing made it through!

I recently moved and needed a safe place to store my documents, jewelry, etc. I am a little bummed I can't store my pearls in there, but that's ok. It is the perfect size and easily carried because of the handle. Let's just hope I never have to actually use it...if you know what I mean.

worst lock design ever

terrible lock ,almost impossible to get it to latch .and once latched and locked can be opened if you squeeze handle just a little harder .over all worthless in my opinion . plus the top lock latch is made of soft thin steel??? stupid to call this a safe

Once unlocked, cannot get it to close and lock

I've had this safe for a little over a year now and they entire time I've owned it I've had trouble getting the safe to lock. As of now, I cannot get it to close all the way and lock at all.

Locking mechanism is trash.

I have 2 of these safes and neither locking mechanism works. I have no doubt the the actual safe is quality, but the locking mechanism is not useable or reliable. I cannot get the safes to lock, even with downward pressure.

I find it difficult to open

I have always find it really difficult to open the box, since I purchased it. For the past few weeks, I have been struggling to open the same box, but it wont open
