Hope I never need to test this product but it certainly feels like it will keep everything safe. It looks like a thoughtful design that is perfectly executed. We have an older one but it is stuffed. This one will be our "When I'm Gone" box.

Difficult to open

I have yet to get this safe open and I bought it 2 months ago. It's useless to me now, just sits in my closet, empty.

The lid stopped latching

After setting within my gun safe virtually untouched I removed the sentry today and the lid will not latch. I've put all of my weight on it and still can't get the lid to close and lock. Kinda bummed as my 1st sentry held up great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
