great item for the cost

I am amazed at all the options you have on the machine. It plays blue ray/dvd and has a ton of options for online entertainment. Easy to use even for my 5 year old.

I was looking for something simple to set up to watch DVD's and Netflix. This 'Sony Blu-ray Disc player with streaming' & remote control is amazingly simple to use and it was so easy to connect. Well priced for a quality product!

Had an old sony dvd player from 2008 that worked great and never broke down, but I finally decided to get a blu-ray player not only for blu ray disks,but to try upconversion technology for standard dvd's, and also to switch from component outputs to hdmi. As a result, after tedious searching I decided to get this sony blu ray player, and so far it has exceded all of my expectations and therefore very pleased with it. Also love the usb port for mp4 movies.

Only negative is lack of wifi but thats why price is lower. Haven't had very long but so far very pleased.

After having my very old DVD player stop working, I finally upgraded to this Blu-ray player and, so far, I'm entirely pleased with it. It's played every single disc and file I've tried in it perfectly, including old DVDs that used to skip in DVD players. It's quick to turn on and exceedingly easy to use as well. I think I'll be happy with this player for quite some time.
