Sony Reliability

Had an old sony dvd player from 2008 that worked great and never broke down, but I finally decided to get a blu-ray player not only for blu ray disks, but to try upconversion technology for standard dvd's, and also to switch from component outputs to hdmi. As a result, after tedious searching I decided to get this sony blu ray player, and so far it has exceded all of my expectations and therefore very pleased with it. Also love the usb port for mp4 movies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So many streaming options and best control of all the ones I have and had.
Got it because of the Sony name and the price tag. It's not Wi-fi, I didn't need it to be. Easy to use, no probs so far, use it for movie rentals and netflix mostly.

Since owning the product and going through settings which was easy to set up also the apps and selection of programs there we're after the first update was amazing i actually got more than i paid for. The bluray picture and sound are absolutely fantastic quality. I just love the machine it's my first bluray and i shall not be reverting back to standard dvd any time soon. Worth the money good value.
This BDPS1200 Blu-Ray Disc Player works as advertised. Works well with our Vizio flat screen TV. My only complaint is on the Vizio end: I was not able to program the Vizio remote to operate the BD player; so I still need multiple remotes.
I've only used the BDPS1200 a short time, but it works flawlessly. Setup is easy, it boots up quickly and has several apps that I'll f'ind useful. Its most amazing feature, though, is its size. It has a smaller footprint than my iPad, so it fits anywhere. Its apps require wired Internet, so it needs to be located near an Ethernet port or a router. In my case, this is a perfect choice, since my home office is wired. It has turned my remarkably unremarkable flat panel TV into something special.
I would recommend this to a friend!
