I never read description when I ordered it. Didn't know they still made wired models. Otherwise it works fine.

The player quality is very good as I would expect form Sony (and other name brands). What I really liked was the easy hookup to our TV and sound system. Just plugged in the HDMI cord and ready to watch DVDs. Our TV is also a Sony and I like the connection between Sony products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easiest piece of equipment i ever installed!. Plug it in connect to TV. install batteries, it operates my Sony TV in every way, input & volume. no hassle!
