Bought the player because it was a Sony. Out of the box it doesn't work. Won't do anything, including turn on. The directions say to plug in and "wait for a short while before the player turns on and starts". It has been plugged in for 20 minutes and still nothing.

I bought a blu-ray dvd player cause i was thought they would play all kinds of discs...including karaoke discs... i already had a good dvd player but it would not play karaoke discs... when i read the info about this one it sounded like it would...but it doesnt...so i spent $$ i did not need to.... and i still cant play my karaoke discs... :(

when I pruchaced it I was not told that it only did Nexflix I wanted RED BOX so I returned it.

Can't get internet, remote will not work on TV. Only uses preset AP's.

The first one I bought would not power on. I exchanged it, the second one did not have the hdmi cable in box. I took this one back also. The last one on the shelf did not have a cable either. I had to spend another $26.00 for a hdmi cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I never read description when I ordered it. Didn't know they still made wired models. Otherwise it works fine.

great player , like the options with all the apps, player works fine, streaming works fine. Do not like occasional requirement to fill in your email and password to access programs.

The player quality is very good as I would expect form Sony (and other name brands). What I really liked was the easy hookup to our TV and sound system. Just plugged in the HDMI cord and ready to watch DVDs. Our TV is also a Sony and I like the connection between Sony products.
I would recommend this to a friend!
