Turntable Issues!

The microwave itself looks great, although the button features are a little complex and hard to read. The biggest issue is the glass turntable not turning most of the time. The grooves aren't big enough for it to grab onto so if there is any kind of weight on it, it slides right off.. Very irritating!
The vents are great for above the stove and come on automatically if the underneath gets too hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It died

I bought this microwave in September of 2016. It was working great then it just died. Did all the things it recommended to check power. We had a previous ge microwave that worked for over 15 years. Guess you don’t make things like you use to.

Operation Panel is dark

1. The operation panel is very dark - hard to read - needs to be back lite.
2. Software sometimes gets hung up - will not operate correctly until next day - which is late if you are trying to cook dinner.
3. This microwave is replacing another GE microwave that stopped working. That microwave vented out the front - the new one vents out the top which, in my case is an issue since my cabinets cover the vent. Had to get a handyman to vent the microwave outside.

What’s with the knob

Microwave works great..but I guess I don’t understand why time has to be se with a knob. Also, under microwave filters seem to fall out on occasion.

Unit only 15 mos. old and it died
