I bought this a month ago and I like the item. It was a best buy recommendation. Not a five because it feels light and the turntable is very sensitive to jump out of line so be watchful. The turntable needs a better way of connecting.

Over the Range MicroWave & Vent

Needed to Replace a old 36' over the range microwave and vent which no one makes anymore. So I found this 30' GE Profile Series microwave and vent. Needed to add a 36' filler kit . I seen the price for installation /removal for the units

each Ge appliance is worse than the last

I bought this because the motor on my prior Ge microwave stopped working all together. In both the prior microwave and this new one the turntable is so poorly made, the drive does not sit in the detents. I purchased a replacement turntable, it was no better. We ground down the detents, and the turntable finally stayed on. The motor died within 24 hours. The new microwave now only turns in one direction and the turntable does not stay in the detents. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was the standard microwave supplied by the builder for my new construction home. It has a dial that is confusing to use and more steps are needed to cook sensor items.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
