Too many buttons to have to push to get fairly normal operations. Very limited preset selections on keypad. Not user friendly.

Control panel not backlit, turntable doesn't turn

Bought as replacement for old Advantium. Controls are ok functionally, however we have to use a flashlight to see the lettering on the controls - there are no symbols, the lettering is very small, and it is not backlit (photo).
Installation was very straightforward. cooks ok but at 1000 watts less than the old Advantium.
The turntable only works if nothing heavier than a paper plate of food is on it - the mount doesn't come up enough to catch the glass turntable plate, or else the wheels are too high on the rollers. The glass plate just rolls off, if you can even get it to catch (photo). Have already had to call in GE Repair one week after installing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good microwave except for labels on buttons

This microwave is great except one flaw. The button labels are not backlit and they are in gray on black so they are hard to see in low light....poor job on this, GE. Other than that, it seems like a good unit. It's quite and efficient.

Wonderful update to my kitchen

Took some getting used to the dial to make selections, but now I see how it increases options for cooking, reheating, etc. The black interior hides splatters well. The light for over the stove has two settings which is nice.

One complaint -- the keypad does not have a back light so need to have a light on in the kitchen to see the various slections
