G.E. Profile Microwave

I purchased this G.E. Profile Microwave and it is Really Great. It replaced the previous same style G.E. Profile Microwave we had for 15 years.

Works fine but doesn't match

The microwave functions like a microwave, but it doesn't match my other GE Profile appliances. The color of the inset in behind the door glass, the pad behind the buttons, and the interior of the cook space is Grey. All of those features on the stove (directly below the microwave in my kitchen) are Black. Also the colors of the Numbers don't match. The LED bulbs that display the time on the microwave are a Blue/White and the LED bulbs that display the time on the oven/stove are Green/Yellow. Again, the microwave is installed directly above the stove, so the mismatch drives my crazy. Why can't a) GE Profile stick with one color or b) at least list the colors in your features so we can check before we buy? Also, had to purchase online because no stores in my area had ANY microwaves in stock. Probably stuck in the Suez canal. Ordered online, couldn't see it in person and then waited 8 weeks for delivery. Frustrating.

Broke after only two years

Very nice looking microwave that has functioned well until now. We have owned it for two years and now it will not heat. We called the service repair in to look at it and they said it would cost as much to fix it as it would to replace it. Very disappointed that the microwave has it lasted only two years. Not sure if GE is the cause of this particular type of microwave that they make. Either way I would not recommend this unfortunately

This is an over the stove installed microwave. Not ideal placement as stainless gets too hot to touch

My last GEProfile microwave lasted 24 years. The only reason we replaced it was because the fan exhaust wasn't pulling the odors out. We tried to replace the charcoal filters but no use. This one has more bells and whistles. I am very pleased with the style.
