[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire should be ashamed of themselves selling this stove. Three knobs broke within a week of using the stove. The stove itself looks great and works great when the knobs worked. I would not only not buy this stove but I now do not trust Figidaire as a brand.

Nice cooktop...but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the stove cooktop for around 10 months now. Since then we’ve had two of the five knobs break. The cheap plastic extruded shaft cracks from heat stress (?) , these shouldn’t be plastic!! I’ve tried to glue the cracked knob shaft back together with minimal success. Looking but new knobs and I find the cost is crazy high for a single replacement. Don’t buy this stove top if you want these issues. It’s really unfortunate that such a small yet critical piece of this system is so problematic.

knobs all broke in 3 months

This cooktop came with the new house. First, there is only 1 big burner but the real problem are the knobs. They were all made of cheap plastic. The first one broke after a month and have lost one per month. My husband glued it but the plastic was so weak, it failed outside the glued area. Tried to order replacement parts but have been backordered for a month.

Love the Stove, knobs are terrible, and crack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cannot use any of the knobs. the plastic cracks and breaks, and the stove is not even 1.5 years old, but just out of warranty unfortunately. 4 of 5 are broken. I consider myself an occasional cook, maybe once or twice a week, so it is definitely not wear and tear.

Needs quality control

The plastic inner shaft on 4 of the 5 knobs broke within 9 months of purchase and the knobs no longer turn the controls. This kind of failure on simple knobs should have been caught by quality control decades ago. No satisfaction in warranty coverage either.

I did it again!

Purchased cooktop about two and a half months ago. was happy with product until the control knobs began breaking off or would not turn the shaft on the valve. I believe that heat from the burners is transferring to the control section of the cooktop causing the knobs to heat up and become brittle and eventually fail. other than that, it's fine. but nevertheless a significant flaw.

Knobs keep breaking off

The Knob material is not metal and definitely not sturdy that they break off from the stem. The look of the Cooktop is nice for sure but I was disappointed on the quality of the knobs. When I tried to sign up for the warranty, i was told the knobs were not included and covered. zz

Nice look AWFUL and CHEAP KNOBS

I bought this cooktop in July of 2019. All knobs were broken in less than one year. In my entire life I have NEVER had to replace any knobs on any appliance. Doesn't make sense for the knobs to be made out of cheap plastic.
