Knobs are so bad I am afraid to use it

We moved in to a new house and one of the knobs was already broken. Two more are showing signs of cracking within a month. Too bad, otherwise seems ok.

Avoid!!

Purchased and after a few months the knobs broke.. One knob broke, then the second and now all knobs are broken. The product description says "stainless steal knobs" but these are 100% plastic except for a small metal clip so completely false advertisement.

Knobs keep breaking!

Even gentle use is too much for these knobs, apparently... In only six months we have gone through a full set of broken knobs! Like other reviewers said, the knob stems are made of flimsy plastic that break easily. Its a real bummer!

Every knob has broken

All knobs have broken and they are expensive to replace. They are made of cheap plastic and Crack. Totally useless. Looks nice at first not so nice when it's missing knobs while waiting for replacements to arrive.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is wonderful. It looks elegant, always lights quickly and is easy to adjust and clean. The burner placement is great, with enough space between the burners to allow for large pots. Several people have complained that the knobs break - I can't imagine why, unless they are forcing the knobs in the wrong direction

Made the right choice

Replaced a 20 yo Frigidaire gas cooktop with this model....wow! The increase in cooking power is unbelievable. We are on propane so used the conversion kit & it is important to adjust the low settings per the instructions. I would have given 5 stars if not for difficulty with the mounting clamps. Installed in granite and had to bend them slightly to get them in the slots but got them to work.

Great stove, TERRIBLE KNOBS!

Love the stove top but two knobs have already broken. Not sure how this passed quality control but shame on Frigidaire for putting such cheap material on a “high end” appliance!
