Every knob has broken

All knobs have broken and they are expensive to replace. They are made of cheap plastic and Crack. Totally useless. Looks nice at first not so nice when it's missing knobs while waiting for replacements to arrive.

Knobs are so bad I am afraid to use it

We moved in to a new house and one of the knobs was already broken. Two more are showing signs of cracking within a month. Too bad, otherwise seems ok.

Control knobs break easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Oct. 2020 and my first knob broke in less than two weeks. I just had another knob break today, and now looking for replacement parts. Too bad these knobs are made of plastic and not metal. Overall I do like the look of the cooktop and it's easy to keep clean, cook with but hard to use with no knobs. :(

Nice cooktop terrible knobs

This cooktop looks beautiful in the new kitchen but of the 5 knobs 4 are broken already. I cannot believe this company charges so much for a cooktop and uses cheap plastic for its knobs. And the replacement knobs are ridiculous in price. Really hard to recommend such a product. If this were on a children’s toy there would be a massive recall and product replacement. I had to grab a pair of needle nose pliers to turn off the burners because the knobs simply wouldn’t work and I didn’t want to risk breaking the last knob.

All of our knobs broke

Is there a replacement knob available for this stove that won't break? We love the stove, but we are down to using one knob which I had to repair with metallic tape and glue, and even that doesn't hold. Please let me know if there is a set available that fits and won't break.

Cheap stove knobs

We bought our home about a year ago and our home came with this Frigidaire stove. It worked great until the knobs broke within a few months of usage and we don’t even cook often! I am down to two knobs now! Very disappointed at this brand!

Nice Cooktop - horrible knobs

We have had our cooktop for less than 1 year and 2 knobs have broken already. The knobs seem to be very cheaply made as they break very easily. The cooktop is nice but hard to keep clean around the burners as well. We have to take the burners off each month and give the cooktop a good scrubbing. Overall its not worth the money and hassle to constantly be worrying if your cooktop knob will hold together and last through meal prep.

This certainly doesn’t sound like the experience we’re hoping you’ll have, and we’d love to see if we can help improve this situation for you. Because the gas burners are sealed, cleanups are usually easy when spillovers are wiped up immediately after the area has cooled, but you can also gently use a soapy scouring pad to lift any stuck-on residue. If you notice difficult spots, try covering with an ammonia-soaked paper towel for 30-40 minutes, then rinse with clean water on a damp cloth and continue cleaning as normal.
