Works well but cheap/ delicate knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cook top works great. It looks good too. However, the knobs are cheap and delicate. One broke just 16 months after it was installed. Why not charge 25 bucks more and use steel knobs?

Beautiful Modern Range, knobs very delicate disappointing

I love the way this range looks on my countertop, but the knobs are very cheap and 2 have broken within 8 months of having it. Knobs are super expensive to replace. Not sure if it is the heat that makes them weak and then they break or what, but it definitely takes away from the look of the range when one of the knobs is broken and not sitting right.
